If given an opportunity to bring peace to the Middle East, where would you start?
Our partners have embraced their strategic role by building bridges rather than taking sides. Their ministry of reconciliation is fulfilling Christ's purpose of tearing down the dividing wall of hostility between Jews and Palestinians, replacing it with the love and power of Christ Jesus. Women are a vital component in this ministry with more than 120 women already trained to bring about community transformation. We are eager to see how a partnership with Partners Women can serve these women.Another ministry based in Jerusalem looks for keen opportunities to care for both young and old alike. They ask prayer that they find favor to develop a media library including 40 DVD's with a Christian message to 200 schools in Israel.
From the Wailing Wall to the Garden of Gethsemane, people flock to Israel in search of truth. Please join us in prayer that they will have eyes to see the One who came to demonstrate His unfailing love for us all.
Isaiah 49:15-16 "engraved on the palms of His hands . . ." Please pray for the work among women in the Middle East who are often forgotten in human terms but not in God's sight.
