Punctuation!

Webster’s dictionary tells us that punctuation marks are useful in clarifying and emphasizing the meaning of a sentence or paragraph. As I thought about this in reference to writing a story or an article or even a blog like this, I can’t help but ask the question, “what or who punctuates my life?”

In other words, what or who “punctuates” and adds meaning and clarity to my days, seasons and years?

The Apostle Paul’s life was punctuated by two distinct marks: God and people. I love the use of exclamation points (tells you something about me!) and I was delighted to see an exclamation point in Paul’s writing recently:

“But you (Paul speaking to Timothy) followed my teaching, conduct, purpose, faith, patience, love, perseverance, persecutions and sufferings . . . what persecutions I endured, and out of them all the Lord delivered me!” 2 Timothy 3:10-11 NASB

We can’t help but love Paul’s punctuation, can we? Clearly, his life is punctuated by purposeful relationships such as his mentoring father/son relationship with Timothy, and with the everpresent love and faith demonstrated in our Lord Jesus Christ. I only hope that Jesus is so clearly seen in me!

The ministry of Partners International Women is punctuated by truly beautiful and purposeful people like you. We would love to hear from you and learn how this ministry is a help to you as you, too, endeavor to life a life of purpose, faith and love . . . like the Apostle Paul. Please let us know how we can serve you in your journey towards living a Christ-punctuated life.

His and Yours!
Kim
The pictures shown were taken at our recent Volunteer "Meet and Greet" event where potential volunteers (beautiful and purposeful people) came to hear the mission of Partners Women and get acquainted with the staff and Servant Leadership Team. It was a great night!!! :)

This organization really gives people a chance to work the way that Christ would want us to work. To love others and to serve them to the best of our ability. We can see the need and it’s our duty to fulfill that need. We better punctuation then to serve others!

Hey Ladies,
Love your PI Blog! Way up here in the mountains, I sometimes feel a little disconnected with my wonderful & dear Sister Kim, and this is a wonderful way to keep me current with what she's up to, as well as Jessica & the Volunteers of whom I know some. As part of the Anna Prayer Team it gives me a little more of a visual to help me pray for the Ministry and the Laborers. Keep up the good work and don't grow weary, knowing your just reward awaits you!
